Ear aesthetics is also known as prominent ear aesthetics or otoplasty. Unlike the normal structure of the ears, the cases where the auricle is curved forward are called the prominent ear, and the prominent ear can be corrected by ear aesthetics.

While children are discovering and learning, they may be shy because of problems such as prominent ear, and even if they are not shy, they may be excluded by other children in the environment. What Does Ear Aesthetics Include?

Aesthetic operations are divided into two as surgical and non-surgical operations. Although the non-surgical method is simple and easy, it is more difficult to get exact results. With the surgical method, surgery is performed with a very small incision and no scar is created. Since melting stitch application is used, processes such as removing the stitch later are not needed. By shaping the cartilage tissue, the prominent ear problem is eliminated.

As a requirement of the procedure to be performed, ear aesthetics can be performed under local or general anesthesia and can be implemented in periods ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours according to the procedure.
