General surgery, which is one of the most important and most comprehensive branches of medicine, is one of the first departments to which patients apply considering the diseases and the treatment methods that fall under the specialty of the department. After applying to the General Surgery Department and following the necessary analysis and research, our patients are either referred to the relevant department or their treatment is continued in coordination with other departments.

Breast Surgery
Treatment of benign tumors of the breast and cancers are performed with a multidisciplinary approach and based on the same surgical techniques and methods as those applied in the most advanced centers in the field of medicine, using operations customized to the medical needs of the patient and methods aimed at patient comfort. In breast cancers, the mainstay of treatment is cleaning only the tumor site and preserving the integrity of the breast. However, in case of tumors grown in many areas of the breast, the procedure called mastectomy, which is removal of the entire breast, is performed concurrently with plastic and reconstructive surgeries in order to ensure restoration of breast aesthetics and elimination of the risk of organ loss of the patient.
Endocrine Surgery
It is one of the surgical treatments conducted in case of diseases of the glands responsible for internal secretion in the body, which require surgical intervention. The benign or malignant tumors seen in the thyroid gland, nodular goiter, poisonous goiter, thyroid cancer, parathyroid gland diseases, adrenal gland diseases and tumors, surgical treatment of the benign pancreatic tumors are included among the specialties of endocrine surgery. In our hospital, there are special applications in place intended to prevent bleeding and voice loss, which will adversely affect the comfort of our patients, during thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. The devices used during the operation and called energy devices are used to close the vessels in the required area and the risk of bleeding is minimized. During the surgery, we benefit from protective nerve monitoring of the nerves that reach the patient’s vocal cords which allow the patient to speak, and thus, the function of the nerves can be controlled during the operation.
