Cardiology

Cardiology is the department that provides services to ensure the healthy functioning of the heart which contracts 60-100 times per minute and pumps blood regularly so that other organs of the body can fulfill their duties, to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, and to treat existing cardiovascular diseases. Today, as the technology has quite advanced, it is possible to diagnose and offer solutions to the heart problems of people of all ages, from an unborn baby to the elderly people.

In the cardiology clinic, we diagnose cardiovascular diseases and treat the diseases diagnosed aside from offering examination and preventive medicine services for cardiovascular diseases to our patients. The aim of the clinic is to determine the pre-disease risks, treat the identified risks and diagnosed diseases in the best way, and ensure that the patients return to their daily lives in the shortest time and in the healthiest way. For this purpose, we conduct cardiological examinations and evaluations and try to identify the potential risks and diseases in the most accurate way.

Most frequent tests conducted among cardiological examinations and evaluations:

  • ECG
  • Effort test
  • Echocardiography (transthoracic and transesophageal)
  • Rhythm and blood pressure holter
  • Monitoring and tilt table test

Additionally, in the cardiology clinic, we often conduct coronary angiography, coronary and peripheral angioplasty as interventional cardiology, nonsurgical closure of certain congenital heart diseases such as atrial and ventricular septal defects, nonsurgical treatment of certain heart valve problems, and insertion of pacemakers.

The main objective of service of the cardiology clinic is to try to eliminate the risk factors for increased cardiovascular diseases that inevitably occur and become an important part of our life in our rapidly developing world as a result of stress, unhealthy nutrition, lack of activity and increased tobacco use, try to diagnose diseases early and treat them in the best way.
