Emergency services are uninterruptedly offered in our hospital on a 24/7 basis by emergency specialists. Our hospital is equipped with high-level technological and medical infrastructure in order to provide uninterrupted services in all kinds of emergencies and complies with international standards. The Emergency Services has doctors who can provide services for all kinds of diseases and emergencies. Following the admission of the patients who apply to the emergency services of our hospital, first intervention is carried out by our specialist physicians in the emergency services and the patient is classified according to the emergency of the situation and referred to the relevant department, or the treatment is performed in the emergency room. In the related department to which the patient is referred based on their medical condition, the treatment of the patient is continued uninterruptedly.
The classification of the patients who apply to our Emergency Services is made within the framework of the criteria determined by the Ministry of Health. A triple triage system is applied in this classification. According to this triage system grouped into codes yellow, green and red, code red indicates patients with vital diseases. Patients with code red are admitted in the emergency service without wasting any time to start the first intervention and examination procedures. The color coding has been determined by the T.R. Ministry of Health based on the existing or developing conditions of patients.
Meanings of Color Codes:
Code Green Diseases:
Outpatients who are admitted to the emergency services of the hospital, whose overall medical condition is stable and who can be treated as outpatient, as well as patients with simpler medical conditions.
Code Yellow Diseases:
- Category 1: Patients with a life-threatening risk, risk of limb loss and morbidity.
- Category 2: Patients who have symptoms that have been persisting for a long time, which increase the importance of their condition.
Code Red Diseases:
Category 1: Vital conditions that rapidly become aggressive, which require prompt or immediate treatment. Patients who are in such condition are immediately taken into the red area.
Category 2: This category indicates patients whose life-threatening condition is evident, which requires intervention within maximum 10 minutes. Patients in this category are immediately taken into the red area for intervention and treatment process.
Emergency Services work in coordination with the other departments of our hospital. Following the first response given in the shortest time to the patients referred to our Emergency Services, our doctors provide uninterrupted services using all our medical and technological facilities to ensure that they are treated suitably and discharged from our hospital in a healthy condition.
